High Visibility

The 40th annual NeoCon® World's Trade Fair, the country's largest conference and exhibition of contract furnishings, was held June 9-11, 2008 at Chicago's Merchandise Mart., While the official consensus is that overall attendance was down this year, MAiSPACE seemed to have no problem drawing interest. "This is probably the most visible and the strongest showing we've had in the 15 years we've had a presence here," said Mark Bassil, VP of Marketing. "The theme for the show was "Raising the Bar" to reflect all the exciting new fabrics and finishes plus our new options such as square patterned glass and metal tiles, new Coverseal drawer and bin fronts and a complete freestanding furniture line." What was also clearly visible was that MAiSPACE has been able to further the distance between them and their low price competitors.


The quality product display decisively pointed out how MAiSPACE's high end aesthetic and innovative design is the best value for systems products today. Averaging about $15 per square foot -installed - most visitors were blown away by the amazing quality they get for their dollar. Now with the addition of a complete freestanding desk line, there really is no work space that couldn't benefit from MAiSPACE's user friendly design and great look. The pieces in the line, that also completely integrates within system (hang-on), include a desk, return, bridge, corner, modesty panel, hutch, and credenza. The top is now only gently radius so all pieces are unhanded.


To top off the show, MAiSPACE increased their visibility with a hugely successful cocktail party on Tuesday night with over 200 people stopping by. Says Bassil, "when people saw the system in person, and find out all the options they have at such an affordable price, they couldn't believe it looks so good! We anticipate a lot more bids and orders to add to our rising 2008 sales statistics."
